The Campania Regional Goldsmith District (D.OR.) concludes its first participation in the prestigious JCK Las Vegas fair, the most important jewelry trade show in the  States. This marks  strategic opportunity to explore and enter the American market, which in 2024 became the top  destination for Italian jewelry, with a total value of €1.399 billion, accounting for about 9% of global exports. Although the United States was temporarily overtaken by Turkey, which absorbed 34.5% of jewelry exports, Turkish figures are strongly influenced by exceptional factors: geopolitical tensions (especially the -Ukraine and Israel-Palestine conflicts), high domestic inflation, and a sharp increase in local taxation on raw gold, prompting a rise in the import of semi-finished and finished products, as highlighted by the .

In this global context, filled with uncertainties but also new openings, the US mission of D.OR. takes on a key role. As emphasized by Vincenzo , president of D.OR. and of the  Jewelry Center, “this first participation in JCK Las Vegas, made possible by the invitation of , is a strategic gateway to a complex but central market for Italian jewelry.” Giannotti describes the mission as “a true commercial scouting activity aimed at understanding the dynamics of the American market and building long-term relationships with qualified buyers and operators.”

The year 2025 marks the first year of activity for D.OR., which has already implemented a strong internationalization strategy supported by the Campania Region. The journey began with participation in Vicenzaoro (two annual editions, with the next in September involving over 50 Campanian companies), continued in Munich with Inhorgenta (where D.OR. presented 13 local enterprises), and now reaches the United States with an institutional stand in Las Vegas.

This is not just about market presence, but about establishing a structured system of opportunities. During the US mission, the District also initiated first contacts with international buyers in view of the upcoming Export Fair scheduled for next autumn at Il Tarì. The event, once again supported by the Campania Region, will bring together around 100 foreign buyers and 60 Campanian companies, with the goal of strengthening direct exports and promoting the craftsmanship excellence of Campania’s goldsmithing sector.

Participation in JCK Las Vegas therefore represents more than a trade fair attendance: it is a strategic investment in one of the world’s most competitive markets and a further step toward affirming D.OR.’s role as a benchmark for promoting  jewelry globally.
